Daily Devotional – Scripture – Teaching | Joyce Meyer Ministries:

"The Blame Game
by Joyce Meyer - posted July 19, 2011

No temptation (no trial regarded as enticing to sin), [no matter how it comes or where it leads] has overtaken you and laid hold on you that is not common to man [that is, no temptation or trial has come to you that is beyond human resistance and that is not adjusted and adapted and belonging to human experience, and such as man can bear]. But God is faithful [to His Word and to His compassionate nature], and He [can be trusted] not to let you be tempted and tried and assayed beyond your ability and strength of resistance and power to endure, but with the temptation He will [always] also provide the way out (the means of escape to a landing place), that you may be capable and strong and powerful to bear up under it patiently.
—1 Corinthians 10:13"

I can say this devotional fits me to a "T" because I have for years now blamed my husband Ronnie for holding me back. I always keep saying that he has control issues and he does have control issues. He also has anger issues. He also talks about veitnam way to much he constantly brings up the war and what he did in the war. He searches for violent movies on the TV. Mostly war movies!

I have begged and pleaded for him to stop but I get disappointed. This causes me great anger and frustration sometimes I cry at night. He lives in the past this has caused us to fight a lot and we have lost a lot of great friends.

Me and Ronnie have fought for many years and we both have went to jail because of the fighting.

I slipped into Satan's trap after leaving C.P.M. because I stopped relying on God. I stopped journaling, praying and going to church. I turned my back on God! I even started blaming God for all the stress, anger and frustration in my life.

First thing this morning as I was coming out of the bedroom Ronnie was rolling A cigarette, well the cigarrette machine didn't work properly and I had said to Ronnie don't do that to the cigarette machine if you break the machine we can't buy another one. He replied by saying I don't care I will throw this _ _ _ across the room. Ronnie has no patience with anything if he is trying to fix something and it does go together just as easily as he thinks it should tools go flying.

I have tried to change his attitude for years and change his ways by talking to him or fighting with him. I even told his shrink about his behavior. I love this man but honestly he's hard to live with I left Ronnie countless times for long periods of time only to get sick to my stomach the time I was gone.

The last time I left him I vomited for the entire time I was gone which was a month. I lost 33 lbs I was so weak I had to get help to use the bathroom.

Why is this happening to me? Does anyone else have this problem? Is this God telling me to stay with Ronnie? Any ideas, theories or comments please!
